“Friday The 13th, Part 5: A New Beginning” sees Jason Voorhees still lying unconscious in his shallow grave. It’s been some time now since Tommy (John Shepherd) finished Jason off and now that he is all grown up he has been spending some time in a home for the mentally fragile. This doesn’t keep the evil from continuing as a local man decides he wants to use Jason’s method of operation and wreak havoc at a local halfway house for troubled teenagers. The murders have started not too long after Tommy initially checks in. Has Jason come back in the guise of someone else or has Tommy’s mind finally cracked?
