“Hellbound: Hellraiser II” begins with Kristy Cotton (Ashley Laurence) sent to a mental institution after the events of the first movie. When she begins to rant about the forces of Hell and the Cenobites no one will listen save for one Doctor Philip Channard (Kenneth Cranham) who takes an interest in Kristy’s story. Kristy tells him about the events surrounding her father’s death and the nefarious love affair between her uncle Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) and her stepmother Julia Cotton (Claire Higgins). Dr. Channard believes her for he has been studying the occult and following the hellish cube for years. He then sets out to free Julia from Hell and uses the savant Tiffany (Imogen Boorman) who solves the box and doesn’t bring forth the forces of Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and his Cenobites but takes the entire hospital to Hell where Channard takes control; upsetting the balance of the neither realm with the help of Julia turning himself into a powerful Cenobite and destroying Pinhead and his ilk. Now both Kristy and Tiffany have to restore Hell to it’s original balance and defeat the Channard Cenobite.
