"Hellraiser 4: Bloodline" opens in the 22nd century as Doctor Paul Merchant (Bruce Ramsey) has set his master plan in motion, a specially constructed space station for one purpose, to destroy the Lament Configuration. Merchant feels obligated to do so cause his ancestor; Phillip L'Merchant (Bruce Ramsey) built the original puzzle box for the demonic Angelique (Valentina Vargas), the daughter of Leviathan, the lord of Hell's Labyrinth. After a short back flash to what had become of the puzzle box after Pin Head’s last defeat and how the box ended up back into the Merchant Family hands. Merchant has built a reverse box that will seal the gates of Hell forever in a story that spans several generations of terror.
