A college girl named Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is shocked when she comes to know that her friend Leann (Azura Skye) has died in a freak accident after receiving a strange phone message. The message appears to be a recording of her death, but strangely it is received two days before the real accident took place. Soon, Leann‘s one more friend, Shelley (Meagan Good) is found dead under similar circumstances. Detective Andrews (Edward Burns), who too believes that there is some strange truth behind these events, joins Beth to try and discover the source of the murderous chain of phone messages. Eventually, Beth is frightened when she receives one death call herself. However, she has three days left to try to find out the fact and avoid her death. Facing the fact, she prepares herself for a race against time before she too meets her predetermined fate.
