In Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief, we see the next installment of the series of Dr. Dolittle films that began several sequels back. In this film, we see a grown up Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt), now a veterinarian, coming to save the day. At the request of the President of the United States (Peter Coyote) she sets out to solve a mystery involving the dog population. It is a crisis and the President hopes to keep it from becoming a full blown catastrophe. This is all assisted by the fact that she can talk to animals.
