Thr3e begins with a scene where police psychologist Jennifer Peters (Justine Waddell) is frantically trying to save her brother who is trapped in a car with a bomb set to go off by a man called the Riddle Killer. Three months later seminary student Kevin Parson (Marc Lucas) gets a call from a man who says he has three minutes to confess his sin before his car blows up. The police assume the man to be the Riddle Killer or RK. Kevin's best friend, insurance investigator Samantha Shear (Laura Jordan) sees him on the news and comes to check on him and help him solve the case. Kevin later receives another call from RK who tells him that he cannot involve the police and that he has 30 minutes to save his dog who lives at his aunt's house where Kevin grew up. After several other threats, attacks, and riddles you are met with a surprise ending that no one could anticipate.
